St. Petersburg developers are summarizing the results of 2024 and making plans for 2025.

In 2024, many St. Petersburg real estate development companies specializing in residential properties and apartments achieved impressive revenue and sales results. We asked our newsmakers to share their annual performance, highlight key projects launched last year, and discuss upcoming developments in early 2025.

Head of Sales for Income-Generating Projects at Becar Asset Management:

– We focus on commercial real estate projects, and the second half of 2024 was very dynamic for us. Significant changes occurred in mortgage lending for residential properties. Down payments, terms, and interest rates were adjusted. People who previously purchased apartments through "cheap mortgages" for investment shifted their attention to serviced apartments. From an income-generation perspective, serviced apartments have more advantages than residential properties: guaranteed income, installment plans, guest-oriented concepts, higher profitability, and professional hotel management companies. All these factors contributed to sales growth. In our company, sales increased by 49%.

The highest number of sales was for serviced apartments ranging from 15 to 20 square meters. In 2024, we completed the second building of our serviced apartment hotel "Vertical Moskovskaya," adding 774 units. Just before the New Year, we obtained approval for its commissioning.
